It is topped with CNC-ported BluePrint Engines aluminum cylinder heads and a matched hydraulic roller camshaft, providing exceptional airflow and a broad, responsive powerband. With a 10.0:1 compression ratio, this engine is optimized for 91+ octane pump gas, delivering impressive performance without sacrificing drivability. The 427ci Small Block Ford achieved modern legend status through its use in the industry’s top Cobra and Cobra replica builders where it became known for producing massive power in lightweight chassis.   • The Front Accessory Drive on this engine fits many vehicles, however it is the customer responsibility to accurately measure and confirm fitment.  Note this is a low-profile design, but things such as power steering hoses, alternator wiring, and additional fittings/fabrication may be required on some vehicles.
