BluePrint Engines Features Engines, New Break-In Oils at Annual PRI Trade Show

BluePrint Engines experienced more than just questions about crate engines and break-in oil at the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Indianapolis this week.

“Our booth was set up right next to the entrance, so we got stampeded when the floodgates opened,” joked Shawn Sterling, President of BluePrint Engines.

Drawing in a crowd from more than 70 countries and all 50 states, PRI is the world’s largest racing trade show. Annually, more than 1,000 companies come together to display the latest advances in racing products and race engineering.

Andrew Obermeier, a product specialist for BluePrint Engines said that there was a lot of interest in their engines from the show participants.

“This has overall been a great show for us. We go to PRI every year and it’s a very racing-oriented show. It’s always fun to see the hardcore racing enthusiasts here,” said Obermeier.

The BluePrint engines booth displayed a 632-cubic inch crate engine, BluePrint Engines block castings and cylinder heads, as well as their newly released break-in and service oils.

Obermeier said that having all of those components in the BluePrint booth really helps them make sure that customers have the right information to make an educated purchase.

“Our role is to meet the customers face-to-face and to answer any and all questions. A lot of people have come to both us this weekend with questions about buying the right crate engine, so it’s nice to have that interaction to help them make the right choice,” he said.

BluePrint Engines is headed to Arizona for the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction January 13-21, 2018. You can find more event and ticket information on the Barrett-Jackson website.
