Identifying Chrysler "Stroker" Engine Displacement – 360 and 440 Applications

BluePrint Engines Tech Tip: BluePrint Engines high performance engines have been "stroked" to increase displacement and power. However, these engines use standard sized engine blocks for easy bolt-in installation.

The Chrysler 360 block has been stroked to 408 cubic inches.

The Chrysler 440 block has been stroked to 493 cubic inches.

ISSUE

BluePrint Engines do not use familiar engine displacements (360 and 440 cubic inch) to specify Chrysler applications. Instead, these engines are listed with their "stroked" displacement.
